European Tour June 2009

The Holland American Legion Band is planning a trip to Europe in June 2009 to participate in the 65th Anniversary of D-Day at Normandy, as well as some community performances in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Included in the tour will be a stop at the Aisne-Marne Cemetery in Belleau, France, to visit the grave of Willard G. Leenhouts, the first Holland soldier killed in WWI, and for whom the Legion Post is named.
