Use Your Gifts With Our Ensemble
Playing with the Legion Band is a joy and a privilege. We have approximately 80-90 members who all love to share their passion for music with our community. Please visit the Recordings page to listen to some of our performances.
Our primary performance schedule usually looks something like this:
Participation in the May Tulip Time festivities, which usually includes marching in the parade and a concert.
Honoring our veterans by marching in the Memorial Day parade and participating in a commemorative service.
A summer concert series of weekly Tuesday evening performances from mid-June through mid-August. The rehearsals for this concert series begin in April. We also rehearse for one hour on Tuesday before the concert.
Participation in a November Veteran’s Day service.
We often perform a concert in February simply for the love of music!
Generally speaking, we perform in Holland. This group has also played all over the United States and in some locations around the world.
